What cams would have me shifting at <6200RPMs?

What cams would have me shifting at 6200RPM's or less?
Also, not a priorty, but something worth considering, which of these cams will pass a sniffer? I know the LT4 Hot Cam will. I've seen that with my own two eyes.
To sum up what im looking for:
Less than 6200RPM's shift point
OK on stock heads (No porting)
Loping Idle
Has potential to pass emissions if I ever get in a bind ??? Not a priority though.
I was thinking the LT4 Hot Cam right away, but I know there are better options that have a better ramp profile to them.
This will be going in a 16K mile car, with 918's Pro Mags and 10* stuff so the whole "Hot Cam Kit" is out. Just need the cam really, and gaskets. Maybe new pushrods? I dont know if (On stock heads) a LT4 HC would still have me at 7.2" PR's. I hope so though cause theres a set of 7.2" Comp Hi-Techs with my name all over them. This is what I get for being indecisive about how I want to build it.

HotCam has you shifting at I believe 6300 if you desire. I've only done it once, because my heads are stock down to the valvesprings. It felt like there was still power though. I would suggest the previous posters cam, as I believe he is putting down low 12s with similair mods to me.

I was going thru the same dilemma that you are. I decided on the 224/230 and it sound absolutely wicked. Nice linear power and a definately lope. I have no regrets.

What about a CC305?

I'd personally talk to Bret Bauer [SStrokerAce] about getting a LE1 size cam made for shifting in that area.

The CC503 has a mild lope...a little less than a hotcam, but more than a 218/224 or something of that size. No vacuum issues or anything like that, and I have my idle set at 750 in gear and 775 in neutral.
I say go for it...you won't regret it!

I thought about talking to Bret. He is agreat guy to do business with. Awnsers any and all my stupid questions all the time.
I just figured that would be alot more expensive. And this isnt going to be the "last" cam swap. This is more of a get-me-by college budget build up that will see a small shot of N20 too. This is until I have the money to tear it down to the block, convert to a 4 bolt 383, and get awesome heads/custom cam for a blower set up on it. I just thought I couldnt go wrong with a cam that is what, around 200$ for another 20-30 RWHP. And a beastly idle. Besides, my 918's and promags will handle the cam, so the only "hidden costs" are going to be gaskets, and maybe different than stock length pushrods??? But even they may work since its going to be on stock, unmachined heads/block. I guess I'll know once the parts come in though.
