just what the subject said, what is cam surge? and why is it bad? just wanting to increase my knowledge on cams. thanks!!

 

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I believe its when you are cruising around at a low rpm and you get little jerks from the engine it feels kind of like a manual car that you arent giving enough gas too.

 

I believe it's when you are at a low rpm and the push rods are trying to push over the cam but they hesitate a little and then push it over quickly causing the car to jerk forward. I believe that's what it is in a non-technical way.
