what cam for a 383 stroker? non daily driver
yes i used the search button about 100 times, i need to choose a cam for a 383 stroker, thats going to be a weekend warrior...i want as most power as i can, want it to lope like a bitch, and doesn't need to be daily drivable...car will be sprayed. LE1 heads,,,having a eagle forged 383 shortblock built.
i had a 226/234 110 lsa cam in the car before,,.565 lift i believe,,
please post any cams,, and pro's cons, and what #'s to expect

if you're wanting to stay hydraulic, try the LE3 cam.
LE3 cam pulls from 2300 to 6500 RPM in a 383. The cam is similar to the GM 847 but makes about 10 more HP at peak and starts making HP sooner. It makes more HP and TQ across the board.
