Question What the best street tire.

I AM NOT USING DRAG RADIALS!!!!!!!!

I was wondering what is the best street tire. Rain isnt a issue. I was looking at the good year eagle gsd3 tires. They look nice and i have been seeing them on alot of vehicals latley. Any input let me know. Looking to keep it in the 200.00 a tire range NO MORE. and if you have a specific place that sells for cheap let me know(im sure everyone will say tirerack)

excellent all around street tire for ~180 (diff. sizes diff. prices) is the BFG KDW
IMO good wear, good in rain, good for traction, i cut a 2.02 60' on them(275-40-17), not too noisy, I would definately buy them again

When you say "best" then price is not an object. Unfortunately the French make the best tires. We use Michelin Pilot Sports on all our Porsches and Benzes. If you want an all season tire then Michelin MXV4 Plus are about the best out there.

If you prefer to stick with American tires, then Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars are the best, those are what come of the McLaren F1 and several Ferraris from the factory.

I prefer sumitumos there around 130 a tire and they stick amazing! You'll get low miles though.

I have BFG KDWS's and they were EXCELLENT tires. I highly recommend those. They dont make them for 18's in the size I want or they're way too expensive (one or the other I cant remember) or I'd have them on my Z06's too. BFG is the way to go.

I bought a set of Kumho Ecsta Supra 712's from www.tirerack.com.
I've had them on for about 6 months now and put ~8000 miles on them (highway miles) and they show little signs of wear. They seem pretty good in the rain too. Plus they are only $83 each.
My vote for best bang for the buck.
