What are the best exhausts for a LT1

I am thinking of getting the flowmaster cat-back at first. Now that I am seeing alot of negative thoughts, I am thinking to look at Borla or SLP Loudmouth.

What are the best to buy for the LT1, for a good price? I know Borla's exhaust are expensive, but I hear the performance is awesome.

If your gonna spend the money on a Borla system then I would get a GMMG catback insteaad. Its around the same price, you get the same gains and it's the best sounding to me as far as catbacks go. Go check this out and download the soundclips.

Not be a d!ck, but this is a much talked about subject. Try searching and you'll get a million threads. But my vote is for a Hooker...and I also second the GMMG over the borla. The sound is much better than the borla IMO. And its orgasmic...I wish I could afford one........

Exactly. If you dont wanna spend $700 (like me) on a catback then go with the Hooker catback. Its the overall best sounding catback for under $400 that i've heard.

How about an electric cutout. With the cutout, McCord PP2, and getting cutout welded in I am at less than $200.

Open it up to scare the honda's, then close it (stealth mode) to cruise thru the neighborhood late at night.

Best of both worlds.

I agree,

I love the sound of my Borla. I'd leave the Flow's to the suv's, well, thats what I see most of suv's.

Just get what you think sounds best.
