I know its not really the answer you are looking for but you can easily run 12's with just bolt ons and some traction.

cheapest route is probably lloyd elliot heads, and a cam package from combo motorsports.....but i dunno if anyone has cheaper prices for cam packages

either way...........if you want heads/cam..........youre gonna spend atleast $1500-2000 just in parts.........not exaclty "cheap"

you can just do the cam and run 12's, if thats all youre after.

I would suggest either the LT4 Hotcam, the CC 305, or the XE 224/230 for use with stock heads. Other people's preferences will differ.

Best and cheapest? That's a bit of an oxymoron . If you can't afford to do it "right," you'll wish you'd waited til you could .

If all you want is 12's, like these guys said.. get the car to hook up well. Of course a little cam like the hotcam/cc305/224xe will help out a bit w/o spending too much $.

Yep!

Col. Kurtz, right?
Personally, morning smells are my favorite. Delivered tons of it.

Cheapest way is bolt-ons and losing a lot of weight from the car. Start sporting that "theft recovery" look, and the car might suddenly get into the twelves. I saw some guy in GM High Tech Performance that did it with only bolt ons. His car had NO interior, and a driver's seat. After all, taking weight out is pretty cheap.
