What all would I need to install these parts.
What all would I need to install these parts.
These items would be going on a totally stock LT1 motor, besides a CAI, elec wp, and long tubes. A Comp XE 230/236 cam, Comp Cams Pro Magnum 1.6 Ratio Rocker Arms 3/8" stud, self aligning, Comp Cams 26918 Conical Spring Suitable to .600" lift great for mild to medium camshafts (Works with stock or Comp 787-16 or 795-16 Retainers), Comp Cams Hi-Tech One Piece Chromemoly Pushrods 7.200" length, stock for LT1 and LT4, Comp Cams "R" Series Hydraulic Roller Lifters, and a Cloyes True Double Roller Adjustable Timing Chain Set. What I basically mean is what all type of tools will be totally necissary to install this stuff besides normal tools and what other items will I need to install those springs and rockers? I am going to be pulling the whole motor out the top because it also needs motor mounts and an oil pan gasket. Let me know if you guys whould change anything in this list. This stuff would be going on to a daily driven 6 speed, 4.10 geared 95 T/A. Does this seem like a good set up for a stock headed daily driven car? not to radical?

Sockets and ratchets (duh)
Valve spring compressor (free rental at most parts stores)
Rocker arms just take a wrench and an alan wrench. Also need some kind of grinder / snips to clearence the valve covers.
The timing cover may need some grinding on the inside to clear the chain
Something to pull the hub off with / reinstall (balancer puller, 3 toe puller, threaded rod etc) Do a search and you will get 101 different ways.

I am also curious to see if you guys think I should go ahead and install a new clutch while i am pulling the tranny with the motor? My current stock clutch is not slipping. Thanks
