What all do I need off an LS1 for the brake upgrade?

if you want the rear, you cant change to the ls1 brakes, you will need the entire axle...as for the front, you need the calipers and rotors. then you have to cut off the "ears" on the lt1 spindle. not very dificult, and will only take a grinder or large cutoff wheel. id suggest some paint on the calipers though.

I did the full LS1 setup on my 97SS. I didn't swap the rear axle...had to pull the shafts out to put the new caliper mounting brackets on the housing ends though. Also when I did the fronts I just got the spindles and everything.

i did the front and you need
the calipers
the disks
the uprights/spindles
its easier to have the hubs(bearings) too and they are a pain to remove, couldn't hurt to do new ball joints and tie-rod ends too. also you can either use the existing lt1 line or use the ls1 line, but you need the ls1 banjo bolt to fit the caliper
there are guides on sites on how to do it, mine took around 5 hours to install with new tie rod ends, then i had a shop do the lower ball joints and the alignment
