What aftermarket oil pan do you use on your LT1?

Looking for some inoput from you guys, i dropped my block off at the machine shop today, and i am looking to buy the oil pan, and valve covers now. Moroso looks like a good value, what pan and part number are you guys using? Motor will be a forged 355 LT1 with an LE-2 Package.

Where did you get it? What part number, pan, pump, pickup? What did you pay?

the pan # is 242T, melling 155HV oil pump, and 023 pickup.

Pan and pick up I ordered direct from canton, the pump I got from our local supplyer. (my friend owns a machine shop so I get everything direct from most places)

price my cost is lower than I can say, cost is around 310 for the pan 35 for the pick up and 43 for the pump

Canton started making them first and then Moroso just copied it. You can get either.

Exactly. That's why I got the Canton. They deserve the business for developing LT1 products for us. We need to keep folks like that around.

Using the canton pan, didn't know the moroso had an LT1 specific pan. I've installed a generic one on another LT1 and it didn't come with a windage tray or trap door like the canton.

I used a Moroso on I motor I just put together. It fits nice, but was very close to the Dynatech LTs and I had to lose the low oil sensor. I used the moroso oil pump and and the pickup they recomend for the pan.

I used the canton 242T. No low oil sensor wire issues with my pacesetter longtubes. Canton pickup, and melling m55a oil pump, stock volume high pressure, and have ZERO issues spinnin her up high and Im at 440rwhp. great products IMHO.
