what to adjust in stock valve covers to clear 1.6rr's?
hi guys i know we need to "modify" our stock valve covers to clear the 1.6rr's. but what exactly do i need to do? just flatten the parts that are protruding on the supports? thank you very much.

look inside,
those metal support rails-
take on side of half of them out.
I forgot if its the inside our the outside of them,but figure it out by seeing whats hitting

What kind 1.6 rr's did you get? Although you have to do some grinding to make the 1.6 rr's to fit, there are some that will just not fit.
Just play it by ear, trial and error method, as you go. Start test fitting them, see where is hitting, and grind. You may want to make sure you keep the integrity of the valve covers true. In other words, don't grind too much where you would make the supports weak.
