pick up valve cover,
look inside,
those metal support rails-
take on side of half of them out.
I forgot if its the inside our the outside of them, but figure it out by seeing whats hitting

What kind 1.6 rr's did you get? Although you have to do some grinding to make the 1.6 rr's to fit, there are some that will just not fit.
Just play it by ear, trial and error method, as you go. Start test fitting them, see where is hitting, and grind. You may want to make sure you keep the integrity of the valve covers true. In other words, don't grind too much where you would make the supports weak.

youre saying to take out half of the whole support? or just half of the 90* angle part protruding from the support? thanks

i got cc rr's. im pretty sure they fit cause i know of others with the same ones. just cant get in touch with them to know what to do thats the thing. i dont wanna "weaken" the vc's too much by removing the wrong parts. so basically its just the 90* bend protruding from the supports that needs grinding or bending? thank you.
