what to add to this set up

Hi,

i got a Hotcam kit + 1.6 RR, LT, Hooker catback, 160° thermostat, Moroso CAI, Mad Z28 tune, and putting 315 RHP with it.

What would you suggest to get some more with the best budget hp / $ ?
Don't tell me nitrous cause it is a real pain to get the bottle refilled in my country.

Also another question : what would be the best tires to use for quater mile on the stock wheels ?

Thanks for answers.

Pierre

Are you an auto or manual? If auto, I would look into a torque converter upgrade and even some different gears for the rearend to optimize your setup. As for the tires, there are drag radials that will fit on your stock rim. Mickey Thompson, BF Goodrich, and Nitto all make DRs that will fit the rim.

It all depends on which direction you take your car now....

If you want it a little faster, get your stock throttle body ported to a 52mm (guy on ebay does this), that's usually ~125 USD.

an electric water pump might do you some good (do a search on this... some people recommend it, some people dont).

as 2000gtp said... if your an auto, get a tc

or you could throw a supercharger kit on your car and call it a day

or you could throw a bigger cam (cc306 or gm847) in your car, then gradually add injectors, 58 mm throttle body, port in intake, and then port the heads.

or you could go all out and build a new engine.

as for the tires thing, seeing how it appears you are going to be using your stock rims as for track use only, I would suggest Mickey Thompson drag radials. They don't last as long as others, but they are the stickiest. If you are going to be running a sticky tire, I'd recommend beefing up the rear end a bit, with different gears and a girdle stud kit at the least. You gotta try and make that 10 bolt as long as you can...
