What about a throttle body?

I need to know which throttle body to go with, first off either a 52mm, 54mm, or a 58mm. Then which one to go with, Holley, BBK, Arizona Speed and Marine. I am looking for more HP and I want the best TB for my LT1. Thanx for your imput!!

Based on your mods, I'd suggest staying with the stock 48MM TB. It will flow pleanty. Going with a larger TB, IMHO, is not going to get you any more HP/TQ.

With a cam and heads (mild) you might benefit from a 52MM in which case I'd suggest going wite AS&M modified 48. I believe they still take stock cores. Their products are good quality and using the core exchange saves you money.

Their 54MM would be the one to get with big cam and big head. No core exchange, so more expensive. As far as the 58MM, doubt that provides much unless you really need big time accessess to intake air.

I'd use my $$ to get CAI rather than larger TB if you want measurable increase in performance, but if you really want larger TB, go with AS&M rather than Holley, etc. JMHO

check my cardomain link in the sig. get your stocker modified if you are going to do it. i agree with the other posts that there are better mods to do before the TB.

I already have a Cold Air Induction, I really am looking for an awesome TB, I plan on doing a 409 stroker kit with AFR LT4 Heads so I know I will benefit from a bigger TB, so which one??
