That looks like a 80's era Soviet Bloc KGB AP module. I wouldn't press that button if I were you.

Look for an ID on that black box that is wired to it. It's nothing factory. What factory wiring it is wired to should give a clue what it is.

The little clear box says shock sensor. Do i'm going to say an alarm. There is a connector going into the box, see pic below. That's not a factory connector is it?


I want to cut and remove it. Any possibility that Is what causing my battery to die all the time after a day of sitting?

The "keep this side up" connector is not factory, nor is the black box. Trace where it is getting power and disconnect it.

 

I cut it. The number on the black box is ezsde1437, which doing a search for that number came up viper alarm.

It is a viper alarm, I have the exact same one in my 95 Camaro, old but mine still works.
