Were there any LT4's with Automatics?

I was wondering if there were any LT4's that were produced with A4's or were they strictly M6?

The only time GM ever put LT4s in was in 1996 in Corvettes only, the Vette had to be a six speed to get it, autos Corvettes got regular LT1s.

I'm sure the cars SLP built cars in 1997 were all six speeds.

There were like 100 SS LT4's, and also around 100 Firehawk LT4's in 1996, and they only came with M6's I do believe, very rare, but there are some...

no. All SLP-optioned fbody LT4's were equipped with the Borg Warner T56 6-speed. All 1996 Corvettes with LT4's (~3000 cars total I belive) received the ZF 6-speed that was used in the C4 era.

All F-bodies that received the LT4 were SLP options, and were only available as coupes... no convertibles.

~26 Firehawks were made with the LT4, while 100 SS's had the LT4.

only from GM. The LT4 isn't really that big of an engine anyway. In stock from it put out ~360hp I belive. There are guys I know putting out 400 REAR WHEEL hp through the 4L60E. Our A4's are fine... but an "LT4 upgrade" is pointless from a cost vs hp perspective.

All manual corvettes in 1996 were LT4. All of them. This included ALL the Grand Sports (1000), and about 1/2 of the 5000+ Collectors Editions.
