Got a mailorder tune in the car today and am going back to the track tonight to see what the car can do on street tires again.

Running a car at the track untuned can be real exciting, especially if you blow the motor by running it too lean.

 

Wow Eddie...........108?............I ran 106 with a cutout, MSD, and an open stock airbox.

















Just bustin your ***** man I might go out there to see yeah. It has been a looonnngggg time since Ive seen that car move.

 

It's got 36lb injectors, not going to run lean, the car was really rich.

 

Heads/cam/intake/injectors/LT's/52mmtb/3.73's and finally a mailorder tune



Before all this with just a CAI/converter/3.73's the car went 13.2 @ 104 if that tells you how bad it needs a tune.

 

I will be there tonight. She should do alot better even with the mail order tune. Drew's car felt like a different car with one.

 

Drew will be out there watching too.

 

Sounds like my car befor I tuned it. cam, LTs, barley any bolt-ons with a SPEC4 clutch through full exhaust with 3.23s and a T56 ran a ton of 13.0-13.1s @108-110mph. then got it tuned and ran 12.7@112mph my 60's are KILLING me. Im stuck in the 2.0-2.1s gotta get some 4.10s in it to keep it from bogging. Good luck. You should pic up some power after you lean it out some with a tune.
