Went to the track, good&bad news
First the good news.
1.929 60' (goodyear F1 gsd3's)
8.375@85.86 1/8th
13.046@104.46
The bad news, is I launched so hard I broke my tranny mount on that run. I saw the 60' and couldn't let off though. It was really starting to cool off too, so I know it had a 12 in it.
Does anyone know why I'm only pickin 19mph up from the 1/8th-1/4?

That was the expected response though. -brent

That was my point exactly. Occasionaly you see people mention 3.90, but everyone I've asked can't come up with a 3.90 for the 7.5". I didn't ask where just to be a dick though, I actually would have been glad if you did know where to get 3.90 gears for a 7.5

I always thought that a lower gear ratio would drop your MPH...
After installing my cutout I gained 1.5 tenths CONSISTENTLY over my flowmaster 80 series muffler. With my flow80 muffler and cutout I ran very similar 1/8 mile et and mph, but in the 1/4 mile I picked up 2 mph! So yes, a cutout will, without a doubt, help your 1/4 mile et, not so much 1/8 mile et though.
you gained 1-2 mph cause you have the flowmaster, the inside of the hooker is basically hollow, no baffles or anything, so there is nothing to be gained there. People I know picked up a consistent 2mph with 3.73's though...
