What elevation are you at, and how was the weather? The times do seem a bit low, and so do the traps for the mods. I would expect atleast a couple more mph out of it.

At least your times are consistent. Get some headers and you should break 13.5.

Ps. Where are you shifting?

i think your around where you should be for your mods. looking at the mods, the only power gains are your intake, and exhaust. average STOCK cars run mid 14's, so i say high 13's is about right!!

look at his 60' times... a 1.8? thats pretty good! there is def. no driver error there, looks like your car is maxed out right now to about 13.8.

.... time for more mods!!!

I think he changed his shift' points a bit... his last run was his best.. but had his worst 60ft.. If he would have 60ft'd in the 1.8 range on that last run a 13.6 possibly a 13.5 would have been in the bag.. Nice run's..

Did you cool your car down between runs? If that upper intake is hot you can lose 3 tenths very easily.

with headers you should be a little faster. i dont think your really going to lose 3 tenths just by cooling down. were you hot lapping?? or did the car sit for a few afer each run?? install a 160 thermostat, and have a manual fan switch installed.

as far as power shifting... i wouldnt do it. to me its not worth the tenth that you will pick up. a lot of guys will argue that though. if its not your daily driver then go for it. its pretty much shifting but NEVER letting up on the gas! just hit the clutch and shift as fast as you can!

hmm. i ran a 13.789 @ 101.81 mph. here are my mods

1995 Camaro Z28 w/ SS hood (for cooling purposes?)

-LT1 w/ 80,000 on rebuild
-T56 6spd w/ slipping clutch
-street tires (friestone firehawk SS20s 245/45/16)

-TPiS TB air foil
-Pacesetter Shorty Headers
-Straight through dual exhaust (w/ cat, but no muffler)
-Tornado Air Intake Accelerator (came with the car)

-Stock posi (limited slip) rear with 3.42 gears
-STOCK air intake and elbow

so basically this car is stock. i was very happy with my times. i can't remember the weather and i don't know the altitude.
but anyways i powershift all the time. i don't see what's so wrong with it. besides maybe that being the reason my clutch went out. i just ordered a spec stage 2, so i'll be fine there. my next mods are gonna be suspension. does this sound right for my mods? it's a possibility that it was bored .030 over with the rebuild.....and i do seem to have pretty bad gas mileage.

anyway, here's a link to mytimeslip first time at the track so my reaction times are slow and my 60 ft times. any tips?
