Well What Do Ya Think?
well i was driving down the raod today, everythings great and all the sudden my car starts missing horribly. then i notice it starts popping from both the throttlebody and the exhaust. theres also alot of black smoke comming from the exhaust aswell 
i cant inagine what could be wrong, it was running great and i was just crusing along at 40mph then all the sudden, it`s so bad now that the car will only go like 15mph to the floor
i scanned it and it says no codes present and theres no check engine light on. i pulled the plugs and they all look good theres no arcing and the wires and such are new. it does it both cold and hot and i even disconnected the maf thinking that it might be a sensor, the computer went into limp mode but it still ran exactly the same.
so, what do ya thing, fuel pump or opti?
maybe i.c.m.?
im stumped here, it got late so i`ll be checking tomorrow to try and fgure it out.

well it seems that the car runs good when its cold and as i gets warmer it runs horrible. i just drove it and it was fine, then as it warmed up it started missing at high rpm`s but it was still ok down low, then when it reached like 190degrees, it started to idle funny and the popping came back, would the opti cause this? i would think that if the opti was bad that it would act up all the time.
i just did the i.c.m. mod a few weeks ago, maybe thats the problem, coil?

well for those who would like to know what the problem was it was the i.c.m.
i replaced it today and reset the computer and it runs good again for now.
im going for a long drive tonite to make sure that it`s all fixed and ill let you know.
i am suppost to be trading this car off this week
gotta make room for the new grand national

Nice, gotta love those Turbo T's. You either spank or get spanked by them. You don't know what you get when you race a GN. I will never ever give them the jump. I hear that turbo spooling up, and I hit the throttle. I learned my lesson a few times and now know better.

lolol me too, i stay away from them. im still not sure if i can part with my camaro or not though, its a part of me
