well can you imagine that.............stumbling/hesitation FIXED!

ok.......i was having some serious issues with hesitation, and i was going crazy trying to fix it

see this thread for details.

anyway, long story short..........i changed fuel filter, MAP sensor, plugs, and finally the O2's.

i reset the pcm (left battery off for 30 mins), and test drove in between each change..............but the problem never went away.

so this morning i go to drive up to the nearest autozone (20 mins away), so they can scan for error codes.

halfway there, the hesitation disappears, and everything runs fine!

im guessing the pcm just needed time to "learn" that the sensors were all working properly.

now im pissed cause i dont know which part fixed the problem. oh well, as long as it works!

btw........i couldn scan for codes, cause the autozone guys scanner kept saying "link error" and wouldnt connect...................he said i have obdII............but my car is a 95 single cat........i thought they were all obdI

All 95s were OBDIs. That's why it wouldn't connect to your car. They don't have a tool that will work on the 95s.

95's are OBDI controlled, but have OBDII plugs on the diagnostic ports.
