after that good time i had at the track my ses light came on on the way home from work. ahh oh well it happens. prob just a sensor...it didnt seem to be running any different. well i was really wondering about roller rockers... do you really gain as much as advertised? what ratio? thanks for all the help and support!

 

Yes with you Mods you should.Just remember that you have to change the valve springs if you use 1.6 RR.

 

Very much worth it to get some 1.6 rollers, yes the stock springs must be replaced with something better or you will coil bind.

Being you have not put a cam in YET , I would think LT4 springs would work fine. You could also just save and do a cam and springs swap. (matched of course)

 

well its gonna be at least 6 months to a year before i can do a cam. if i do a small cam, like a lil bigger than a hot cam will i still be able to use the rockers?

 

Some full roller CC magnums would be nice. Do a search. And if you go larger than the Hotcam, you will be replacing springs again.

 

well that code was the egr valve...cleared it and it hasnt came back one...so keep your fingers crossed!
