Talking weird bump when I floor it

I just got my Z28 today after having a v6 for two years, man, it's fast (as opposed to a v6). Anyway, this just started happening, when I get on the gas pretty good (it's automatic) something pops up under the passenger side hump in the floor, you know, the little raised up part right by the center console. Anyway, I looked and the only thing I could guess was the catalytic converter jumping up for some reason. If thats the case, I'm cutting it anyway, does this seem right or is it something else? thanks and God bless

You can't tighten it. You have to get a new one. They're about $20 or $30 bucks at autozone. I replaced with the 1LE when mine went out. I think it like $25 or so. Its pretty easy to replace. Its directly under the transmission...mounted to the crossmember. Its a rubber piece. Unbolt the old, pop in the new.
