waterpump stuck on, don't want to break anything

I can't get the waterpump off this engine I bought. I took off all six bolts and the thing is still stuck on. I broke all the gasket seals (its separated from the block by a few millimeters), but the thing is still on there tight as hell! So tight that when I tug on it I am almost knocking the stand over. I can't figure it out what am I missing?

It is doweled in place too, get a little penetrating oil on the dowels and rock it and it will come off. Look behind the pump you should see one dowel on each side. It was doweled to more precisely align the drive.

Well then it must be the drive was not lubed properly and it stuck. See if you can get some penetrating oil on that.

oh god that sounds difficult.. I'm about to go back out and try some more. I'll see if I can get some oil up in there but jeez I can't think of how.

That is why penetrating oil comes with those flexible red straws.

I just couldn't see anything but I managed to get in there and squirt a few drops. I let it sit for 15 minutes, then gave it hell using two screwdrivers with wrenches behind them (like a see-saw), and a hammer.

It was so rusted I couldn't get the collar back. Is there anywhere to buy a new collar shaft or is it just a way better idea to upgrade to an electric?
