Waterpump Sensor

I have been trying to find out why my car is hard starting all the time my fp is perfect i have new opti and plug wires coil and fuelpump. After i let my car sit at night and start it up in the morning it fires right up. But when i am driving it about 30miles and let it sit for anywhere between 1-3 hours it takes like 6-7 turns before it starts i have been reading about the sensor on the waterpump causeing this to happen could that be whats doing it. and does anyone know the part number at autozone for the sensor on the waterpump

Duralast PN SU109. But don't forget there is one on the Left hand side of the engine(driver-side), near the front of the header.

If one of them is failed, it will give the computer a false signal of something like -40 degrees below zero which causes an extremely cold start condition. It is possible that that is what is causing your car to flood.

i checked that there are no leaky injectors. I have been dealing with this problem for some time now its really making me mad and if its just that sensor i will be ticked lol.

I changed my plugs and it went from almost not starting to a flip of the ignition switch every time. The one in the water pump is the only one to worry about. It use to die randomly until i replaced it.

The one on the block should be the low level sensor. I think.

Why are you running 30lb injectors with a CAI and LTs?

No, they are not. The one on the water pump uses two pins and a 5v reference signal and ground from the PCM. The one on the head uses one pin and a 12v bias from the gauge panel.

Check the readings of the sensor with a scanner to prove it is ok or not.
