The function of the weep hole is to let you know when the bearings are starting to go bad...once they do it starts to leak all over the optispak....and THEN make GM money.

I suspect mine of leaking, when does it do this? I havent yet observed it but there are rust lines like water was running off the bottom of it. Possibly the rust balancer just spinning water onto it from the rain/other cars/ground?

You'll know if its leaking bad....there will be a puddle of coolant underneat the car...it starts off as a small dribble and you can see it from underneath the water pump.
