Its not a hard job, I did it. Also, while your doing it, might as well put a 160 degree thermostat in.

Oh and check out this, snice your down there, might as well...

Also, you might needs something able to cut plastic, the waterpump(well mine did) will stick out more and hit the fan housing, so i might have to trim them up.

if it just stalled, i would be concerned that your water pump drenched your opti, however my pump leaked for a day or so and didnt hurt my opti, but it never stalled or sputtered either.

The difficulty of the job depends on the mechanic. I'm a student training to be a mechanic and I can see it taking about 4 hours to do. I did the job in about 2 because I've been there before and knew what I was doing.

I bought a reman from Autozone and had to replace it within3 months. But, the second one is doing just fine. Once you get through changing it out the first time, each time is quicker after that. I'd go with the lifetime from Autozone if all you are looking for is just to have a reliable car, no need for electric and no need to spend your left nut for a stock one also.

I have horror stories about the Meziere Electric H2o Pumps as well. Which is why I bought a CSI and never looked back.
