water pump
Remove the intake duckting, drain the coolant, pull all your hoses (replace the spring clamps with screw clamps, remove the belt, remove the fans (they just lift out of the holder (together)), put something over the distributor to try and keep it from getting wet,
remove water pump(3 bolts on each side), one of the bolts it behind the powersteering pump pully and you made need a short socket and an extension to get it.
Change over parts to the new waterpump like the thermostat and housing, and the temp sensor. I would just buy a new sensor.
clean the mounting surfaces with a razor and brake parts cleaner.
install is reverse of removal.
Bleed the cooling system (bleed screws). DO a search for bleeding pocedures ^^^ up there
shoebox.com is also very helpfull. I should have just gave that link instead of typing all that.
Hope that helps.

I just did mine for the second time a week ago...tips...remember to drain the radiator before anything using the drain on the bottom. Also remove the bottom right waterpump bolt and get ready for coolant to gush out, so have a bucket ready. After that bolt not much coolant should come out when you take the pump off the car. What I did was remove all the bolts and let the coolant trickle down the block overnight...this protected the opti and when I removed the w/p no shower came out...worked great.
