If your Water Pump goes bad... what does that mean other than Water Pump going bad? L0L

What are some chain reactions that would occur from this crap? Because thats what happened to the car i'm about to look at, the Water Pump went bad and the car began to overheat.

When your waterpump goes bad it begins to leak coolant from the weep hole (located on the bottom of the waterpump). If the problem is not fixed quickly you run the chance of coolant entering the opti which will cause your car to misfire. If that happens then you will more than likely have to replace the opti with a new one.

When you say misfire, you mean slip right? Where you floor it and the rpms sky rocket while the acceleration is not?
