I just tore the valve covers off my 94z which has been sitting for about 3 months due to me being pissed off about it breaking AGAIN. aside from my #7Ex rocker coming loose and beating the hell out of itself, and my cps (opti) momentarily failing and causing a no-start condition 50% of the time.
I just found water in my oil, With as long as the engine has been sitting I can only wonder what it looks like in there

 

Have you figured out how your rocker came loose?

 

Don't know. I only put them on maybe 2 or 300 miles ago

Never had rockers come loose before though. If anything I was worried about making them too tight. If I remember right I made them 3/4 past 0 lash on stock lifters.
