doing a v6 to v8 swap etc etc was turning the converter to bolt it to the flexplate and water would pour out the sparkplug hole wth? what does it mean what can i do etc etc.
Alittle history, LT1 motor 97' been sitting for a few years on a engine stand in the shed. found a really cheap v6 cause my 93' racecar project is at a standstill and no 01' SS to play with so i wanted to get back in the game so does anyone have an idea wth is going on...oh and it was just the one hole um pass side 3rd from the front of the motor thank you for your time

 

The only thing you can really do is hope no rust has formed in the cylinder. If it were mine i would for sure pull the heads off to inspect....

 

no it was very clear and had no smell of coolant, mite have been rain water but i have a sparkplug in that hole and all ports covered with either tape or a blockoff guess ill add pulling the head to my list of things to do and stuff to buy ugh

 

That would be the safest way to go about it. If it's still on a stand you may want to pull the oil pan off and make sure the bearings are in good shape too.

 

nope in the car had the engine last weekend got the trans in yesturday long story why they didnt go in at the same time guess im pulling the pan off too kinda have to when i do the 24x
