water is coming out of my overflow lid!!!!!

water is coming out of my overflow lid!!!!!

it does it when it gets hot. do you think my cap could be bad?

Could be the cap.
is there air in the system? Maybe you blew a head gasket or the block is cracked through the cooling jacket. Start with the cheap and easy thing first.

Sounds like the radiator cap needs replacing.

I had the same problem, ended up being air in the system so i bled the system and bought a new stat

Same problem. Replaced cap. Fixed problem.
