War story of my own

This isn't as bad as NOX's track wreck, but check this out. I was running a guy with an 02 WS6 tonight, (of course i won) , and around probably about 100 ft from the finish line, i heard a loud ticking under my hood. I stopped on the side of the road and when i looked under my hood, i saw blue flames in the back driver side of the engine compartment.
Turns out that I blew a hole in one of the primaries on my Edelbrock headers!!! Has anyone heard of this happening before? It's about the size of a nickel. Should I be worried that the entire header is beginning to weaken?

Nope. I was young and stupid when I bought them and didn't ceramic coat them. It is only about 4 inches from the head, but I'm not driving it. I went straight from there to the muffler shop at no more than 50 MPH. He's fixing it right now.
