Want faster, shuts off @ 104 MPH

I have a 93 Z28 with a 150 speedo. What is the way i can eilimate this shut off where i can reach over 104. Thanks, Daniel

get the pcm re-programed, or on my 92 i put a switch in line with the speed sensor and just shut off the speed-o when i wanted to go faster. it worked on the 92 i dont know if it will on a 93.

I didn't know they had speed limiters on some of the 93 cars. I learn something here everyday.

yeah if they didnt come with Z rated tires they had the 100 some limiter.

i thought the cars with the 150 speedo's came with Z rated tires and the rest came with 115 speedos and the lower speed limiter
