Wanna hear Hooker LT's through a Hooker Catback? Click here :)

have some awesome burnout footage of our last track event (this is the day I broke 12's )

It's 30mb and plays beautifully on full screen.. please right click and save target as..

http://www.zmydust.com/videos/javierbmp.mpg

if you want to hear some clips of the hooker catback in action here's your chance..

in a few weeks you'll get to hear it with a 224/230 cam backing it up..

the only run i have in that vid of me is losing.. doh! hehe.. i spun in that run.. one of the only times i spun all day and got caught on video.. it's all good

Man that catback sounds sweet with the Longtubes. I had a FLowmaster 80 series catback and it didnt sound good with my longtubes. What mods did the TA have in the other lane?

the TA in the other lane was my good friend Claire.. we used to be a good race, she's got a very sweet running '01 WS.6.. the car only has a lid, mac headers, & 4.10 gears.. nitto's on the back and cutting 1.7's in an M6 right next to my 2800 stall equipped A4.. she can drive the thing

until she got the headers & 4.10's we were running 13.0's side by side..

i've got my cam going in now to keep up again lol...

Sweet. Im wanting to switch from flowmaster to hooker catbacks. That's not as loud as I hoped though. Do you have cats? I think I'll go with it anyway as flowmaster sucks. It'll probably sound better in person too.

no cats.. 3" ypipe straight to the catback.. i'm honestly more concerned about quality of sound more than loud..

i am planning on a cutout for track only use though.

Man that sounds good. Thats the setup i was thinking about going with. Do you think you gained any rwhp with the catback? I give you props for being in the 12s with bolt-ons. Thats what i am trying to accomplish. How how rwhp do you think you are pushing? Can you post anymore sound files on your exhaust setup? Good Run.

That's a sweet azz video! It sounds good but a little hard to tell with them wheels spinning Is the tone deep enough? If it is I may consider it down the road when I switch to longtubes, I think my loudmouth will be overwhelming with LT's. Can't wait to see what you can do with that cam in.

thanks prior to the longtubes/converters, and on stock plugs/wires I dyno'd 252rwhp and 278rwtq.. that was damn, about 2 years ago... I haven't dyno'd since really.. I figure I'm probably pushing maybe 280-285 rwhp or so We'll see after the cam I've had the Hooker catback on for a few years now.. so i really have no clue what I gained, maybe 10rwhp or so over the stocker system. check out my site when you can i post new stuff here and there that you might catch a good clip when i get a few more of my vids online..

daniel-> my friend has LT's with the loudmouth.. he is going to get a muffler.. it's CRAZY LOUD.. sounds wicked, but it hurts quite a bit when he revs it without you knowing and you're behind the car dave if ur reading this remind me to drop a driveshaft on you or something.. the tone is most definitely nice and deep in my car though...
