My Walbro intank starts to make a high pitched whine as the car gets hotter.

Should I worry?

I haven't seen any drop in the fuel pressure yet.

I know this is an old thread but I was doing a search and was wondering if your noisy Walbro ended up being ok? Mine just started (or I just noticed) with the high-pitched 'whining' noise today while sitting in traffic. I installed it just a couple of months ago. It's the Walbro GSS340 installed without the factory fuel pump housing. Gas gauge shows 3/4 of a tank.
