Walbro 340 install

What does it take to install this pump in an LT1?

I heard there was a problem with the jet pump that needed to be modified and the wiring?

Will it fit inside the harness or is there a big size difference?

You don't have to modify any wiring. The pump won't fit inside of the stock...um...whatever the name is. The plastic thing around the pump that keeps fuel to the pump under cornering.

I just removed that plastic piece and zip tied the new pump to the entire housing.

Once you get it out you'll see what I mean. Take off the big cream plastic piece that the old pump sits in and zip tie your new pump to the same location.

So there's no problem with the Jet Pump?

Do you have any problems idling when you get under 1/4 tank?

Cool

What's a 'Jet Pump?'

Get a Racetronix kit. Excellent support, excellent product, uses the stock fill bucket (no issues with pump starvation). Worth the coin.

Didn't see that you asked about jet pumps.

See the reply in Adv. Tech.
