If you want to save money, go to jegs or summit or jcwhitney and get a 90* mandrel bent pipe (3 or 4 inch), and buy the biggest K&N filter you can find that will fit. Then go to HomeDepot and get a PVC pipe rubber coupler to attach it to your MAF. If you paint it black, I swear that it will look as good as any kit out there, and it will work just as well.

$20 pipe
$35 filter
$8 coupler

Total = $63

I'll try to get some pics of the one I made.

My next performance mod is a LPE CAI. Not a bad deal only $169 compared to some other places. I'm sure Lingenfelter knows what he is doing with performance.

CAI's are overpriced considering what you get.. I dug up a brand new one to replace my G2 on Ebay for $100 shipped.

Do some investigating - don't spend $200+ on one of these things. I'm not saying be a cheap bastard, just don't blow money needlessly.

They all pretty much do the same, but if you want functionality as well as one that looks good and fits between fan shroud and ABS unit...SLP without a doubt.

www.lmperformance.com has the SLP CAI on sale for $175 right now. They're usually around $195-$200.
