You won't get a performance gain with either, so I would go for whatever is more visually appealing to you. I have the Trickflow ceramic coated elbow, it looks good polished up and fits well over the stock TB.

The dividing wall in the Vortech doesn't seem to be necessary. It just eats up flow area in the tube. Maybe with forced induction it helps smooth the flow between the MAF and the throttle body, but even that isn't clear.

ive been wondering about the little dividing wall. Sounds like i'll be better off with the trickflow. I remember though a while ago, that one of them does not fit so well on a 58mm throttle body, and that the intake elbow is smaller than the throttle body openings?

The guy at my dyno shop told me the Vortechs are junk, and every one they've dynoed has shown about a 10 hp loss over the stock elbow.

I have the trickflow elbow, and an SLP intake, and had to cut about 1-1.5 inch total off of either piece for it to fit on the throttle body.

You would have that problem with either the Vortech or Trickflow. I have had both elbows with the SLP Intake and I had to cut the elbow on both. I ended up keeping the Trickflow due to the divider wall in the Vortech. I did not want it to interfere with my nitrous nozzle that I mounted in the elbow.
