With the TF elbow and a SLP type CAI it is a tight fit at best with no cutting on MAF cars like my 96. Most have to trim the elbow or CAI to make fit proper. It fit my 96 with ASM style CAI with no cutting.

I have K&N FIPK and I didn't have to trim anything on the Trick Flow elbow. Went right on.

Does the elbow flow any better than stock, or does it just look good and get rid of that tube that hangs down infront of the engine?

It inproves flow by eliminating that silencer. I have a ceramic coated trickflow and it looks great! Went on super easy... SUmmitracing

Another vote for the Trick Flow. Only had to drill a small hole for the Opti vent, no divider like the Vortech. I had to cut a small amount (1/2 in, maybe) to get it to fit the MAF. Mine came with black couplings.
