Question Vortech or Trick Flow intake elbow???

Is one better that the other? If so, why? I'm planning on replacing my stock intake elbow and want the best replacement.
Thanks.

I'm going with the Trickflow. No partition running down the center of the elbow like the Vortech which interferes with airfoils if you have one.

I have the trick flow and I like it, but it will not work with a Jet Hot airfoil.

I like my trick flow because it is ceramic coated and in my opinion looks nicer

I have the Trick Flow piece on my Z with a heat barrier coating inside and out and I like it. Stays nice and cool too.

i was looking at the powercoated black trick flow for mine. i just like the all black intake look with my moroso cold air.

summit has that one for about 10 bucks less than the ceramic one i believe.

I have trick flo not on yet.I have vented opti and don't feel like drilling into it.Can I drill in farther upstream like in my air induction tube.
Also does the delteq system need a vented opti? Is it to protect the optical part or just the cap and rotor and couldn't I pull vacuum from another spot in the vacuum harness?

Re: Vortech or Trick Flow intake elbow???

i got the trickflow and i didn't have to drill for my opti vent, my opti vent was relocated before i got the car to a separate place on the intake. possibly had simmilar mods before i bought it.. and the only fitment i had trouble with is if i want to take out my air box, it's just a little tight, so i pull the elbow from the TB and everything moves just fine.
