Viper Tranny?

I am confused is the T-56 tranmission used in Vipers as well? Would it be wrong to say Corvettes, Vipers, and V8 Fbodys have similair transmissions?

Yes they are all at least somewhat similar, the most different would be the Vette transaxle.

Same trans with slightly different gear ratios AFAIK

just a tidbit of info here...in 93 some z28's and firebirds too i assume, got the viper trans- rpo m29
the rest were the 'lesser' t56's- rpo-m28

the viper trans has closer gearing for better acceleration IIRC
just something i thought i would throw in

Vipers.Vettes.fbodies. and some Auston MArtins use the T-56 tranny ... same transmission ....
