why do u blow out collector gaskets? is it b/c you get on the throttle a lil too much? also what are the brand of the gaskets on the heads ?? are they hooker? also the collector is where both left and right headers meet and go into the y pipe right?? is that gasket between the collector and the y pipe? also are your headers coated? and how will the copper seals prevent leaking?? thanks !

a man of many questions

I've just been using cheap paper gaskets for a while now, and they have a tendency of just drying out and cracking after a while, which causes the leaks.. the copper gaskets are soft copper and seal perfectly from what I hear.

the header gaskets themselves are FelPro 1406 D port gaskets

they are coated... and you are correct about the location of the collectores I also have one more 3" flange towards the back of my ypipe which makes it completely removable off the car.. it's where the ypipe meets the rest of my exhaust...

It's set at 6200, but I believe the actual delay it's shifting at about 6300... I'm thinking about actually setting it a bit higher, but I need to dyno it first

I'm looking into picking up a set of 3.73's as the 3.23's feel like they're slowing me down (doesn't rev fast enough lol)
