Victory Racing Engine Review!! VRE 383

I know this isn't the spot for this post but I have too... it is motor related. haha

Well, I am not going to get into the entire nightmare I had before I found these guys... because that's all irrelevant for this review.

Nick and Eric are the most prompt and decent guys I have ever dealt with. They really cared whether or not I got my car going or not... even after their job was LONG done. Nick, which to me is my car god as of now... even went OUT OF HIS WAY and SENT $1500 of his own money!! To have MY MOTOR ripped out, shipped to him, TORN DOWN COMPLETELY, REBUILT COMPLETELY, shipped back, the reinstalled!! All because we thought it was his fault, only to find out it wasn't!! The installed damamged by oil pan causing a rod to hit!! So Nick, by the good of his heart and holding to his word, sacrificed his own time, money, and patience to make sure he kept his word and gave me my motor perfect.

Well, they did... but the word he did wasn't the only amazing thing. Eric is the absolute best receptionist ever!! Just kidding man... haha He has been so patient with me... just amazing. Talking to me, calming me down when things sucked... REMINDER: Their job was already finished!!

Everytime I had a question or a thought... even just to make sure something was going correctly... they never hestitated to give an answer. Never even stirred up a nasty tone. They answered graciously with a more then elaborate response.

They sold me quality parts at a respectable price... they answered all the crap I threw at them... and if for some reason they weren't totally sure... they would find out in no time!!

My motor left then 4 months ago almost... but still they would see how things went... answer my questions and thoughts STILL about possible problems... they would even talk to my mechanic(s) to let them know some of the more detailed and important things!! It's unbelievable how they treated me... Eric would actually call up my mechanic (Carlos at Advanced Auto Repair) and check in on my work. See if anything was shapen up... REMINDER AGAIN: Motor has LEFT them 4 months earlier!!

Nick and Eric have provided A+++++ service in every which way possible. If ANYONE wanted a motor built... I would recommend them 100%. I am in no which way disappointed in my choice. I would never go to another engine builder as long as they are around...

Good to hear...glad to see that they are doing well.

After speaking with Nick and Eric in the past they both seemed like really genuine and good people.

Always nice to hear good things about a company when most find it easier to complain.

Good Job Guys!

Told ya doing GP's on short blocks doesn't pay, but doing this kinda stuff DOES!

Customers.... this is why you don't go after the cheapest motor you can!

Well... with Nick putting this together!! With you and Lloyd putting my heads/cam/intake together... I have one nasty beast man... it's unbelievable!! I haven't gone no more then 3/4 throttle AT MOST... (Those are accidents) 1/2 most. All my passengers are thrown in the seat. I put 80 miles on this thing already and I love it.

I had the car up to 90 like it was joke... short shifting at 3300rpms and going half throttle... fastest car I have ever been in. It's unbelievable!! I am not even slamming gears because of 10 bolt, stock tranny, and stock ds... hahahaha no good. But the car is so fast... way faster then I ever imagined it would be. I can't wait for it to be broken in. I just want to get to a highway and doing a 60-135 pull!!

Chris,

break them dam rings in already and get on it... you can't break the driveline without traction!

Re: Victory Racing Engine Review!! VRE 383

Ive ordered alot of stuff from them. It's gotten to the point that just about anything I need from the U.S I get from them because the price is always right and they get the stuff to me when I need it. It's wierd to deal with a company that actually cares about how you feel and making you, the customer happy.

Thanks for all of the kind words guys, especially Chris.

Eric and I do our best to make sure that every customer is pleased with their job/order and that it meets and exceeds their expectations. For us the transaction doesn't end with a swipe of the card, we try and go the extra mile and offer as much post-purchase support as we possibly can.

The most important thing is that Chris is happy and out enjoying the car, afterall isn't that what we are all in this hobby for in the first place.

Re: Victory Racing Engine Review!! VRE 383

Nick and Eric did me good as well. After 2 plus years of chasing my tail, my 385 LT1 is a damn savage. And Nick actually drove 2 plus hours to my house to help me diagnose a problem after install, and ended up driving the 2 plus hours back to have a custom made bushing made, and then drove the damn thing back to me the next day so we could make the Woodward Dream Cruise with the car. I wear my Victory Racing Engines shirt with pride at all shows I go to.
