Other than the 4-bolt block can anyone think of any differences between a 95 F-body lt1 and a 95 C4 LT1?

I understand they were rated differently... Is this because of intake and exhaust design or does the Vette LT1 have a better cam/heads/springs/anything?

Intake exhaust, and also the fact that no GM production car can be rated at a higher hp than the vette of the same year. See 1989 Turbo Trans Am.

 

4 bolt, as you say. Also different oil pan.

 

The accessory mount and accessory location is different on the vette. I have a vette engine, but Im going to put F-body accessories on it. Otherwise, same motor. Unless you want to discuss the LT4. Thats a different animal.
