vented opti needed with cc305

Would i need a vented opti, on my 93z if i go with a cc305 cam?, i know i would with the hot cam, but i want the cc305. would the dwolpin bet too long or not? i ve heard diff things?

No you don't need a vented opti.

Yes it will be too long, cut it down

GM parts book says 93/94 cam dowel pin needs to be .30 +/- .01
in length.

I just put in the hotcam, in my 93 with a non vented, I didnt have a problem, unless theres something I over looked, you'll be ok with the cc305, just make the dowel pin shorter if needed.
