Vented Opti Conversion?

I just realized today that my waterpump is leaking pretty bad and my opti is soaked. I am sure it will fail pretty soon because of that. Well my question is what do I need to be able to put a vented opti on my 94? Or is it just the same as my old one but just had a vent tube that I need to hook up somewhere? Any suggestions?

Re: Vented Opti Conversion?

You will need:

Vented Opti
95+ Opti Wiring Harness
Vented Opti Vaccuum Harness
95+ Timing Cover
95+ Timing set or LT4 ED or Cloyes
95+ Camshaft with the longer dowel pin

It's a fairly easy swap. You have to run a t-junction into a vaccuum port on the intake for the harness, and do some very minor trimming of the top end of the wiring harness.
