VATS again

So, my last effort to solve my security light woes was deleting VATS entirely from my PCMforless tune.

Guess what, I'm still getting this ****ing security light! It has gotten so bad my car has been grounded for 4 days. That said, since VATS is deleted can I just get a $50 lock cylinder with cut keys from the auto Parts store and plug & play? Or do I still need to get them Programmed for it to work..

People don't understand that programming out the need for the VATS signal to the computer is only half of what you need to do. The resistance for the key must still be satisfied to engage the starter (if you are going to keep the VATS module).
