Valvetrain

224/230 503 Camshaft

What valvesprings etc.. I was thinking the CRN-10308-1 from summitracing, comes with shims, locks and retainers, fits without machining, should be strong enough no?

Pushrods, if the stock ones spec out fine, is there need to worry about new ones?

I plan on keeping the stock water pump, what timing chain?

I already have 1.6 RR's, not worried there, and I assume the OE valve covers are good to go?

Thanks guys.

Re: Valvetrain

The Crane 10308 is a good spring and would work well with that cam. Stock pushrods are fine. The stock timing set is OK as well, but I'd pick up a new chain. You might look into the LT4 timing set as well. Stock valve covers are fine.
