valvespring failure #2...
valvespring failure #2...
I am pulling both heads to get the top of the line dual coil valvesprings that will work for my application. I have the xe 230/236 on a 112 LSA w/ lift #'s of .594 and .585 w/ 1.6s. I was wondering which dual coil valvesprings I should go with since my last pair of valvesprings failed not once but TWICE, and I am tired of taking the heads off... to fix bent valves =/
do NOT get ex components 612 valvesprings even if you like me are told that they are good to .620" lift. THEY ARE NOT. END OF STORY.

At least, that is what I remember. That would be too close for your lift.
valve springs
Get your next set of valves .100 longer stems and get springs to put you 135-140Lbs on the seat and 375-400Lbs on the nose and forget about any more spring problems. This would make it 1.850 installed height.
