Valve train Check Please ( Pic inside)

Hey guys - please check that .. i think its Bad.

DO i need longer or shorter ?- Shorter right?

Everything was milled so i can understand why its too long.

(Thats using stock pushrods and OEM lifters ( STOCK - Not modified)

Ill be using Crane lifters for real whould i check with them? also how can i make them not collapse? thanks all.

Just to make sure i did the test right

- Coat stem in marker.
-Drop in Lifter and pushrod throught guideplate
-Put on rocker and tighen til tight then secure the poly lock
-rotate the engine for one "Up Down" on the test stem.
-Remove rocker and take picture

Thanks all.

You would need to prime the lifter, use a oil can and force as much oil in it, in essence this is what you valve train would be like, using a pushrod length checker would give you an exact measurement.

FYI with my milled intake and heads, hotcam and oem lifters i was still using 7.200" pushrods I am sure it wasnt optimal but I didnt have an issue.
