OK well i need some suggestions on what to use for Valves on my newly ported heads. I will be running a 233/239 cam and want to achieve 400 hp at the rear wheels. I was thinking of going with 2.0/1.6 valves. What do you guys suggest and where can i get them.

How about Ferrea? From what little I know about valves, Ferrea's seem to be one of the best. I did some digging around (Google and search on this site & others) to come up with this. There's a lot of info out there!

They have them at www.cmotorsports.com Give them a call and talk it over with them, I'm told they're quite helpful..

I went with Ferrea's for my heads & cam project by the way, so I'm putting my $$ where my mouth is on this one

 

So what were your heads machined for as far as valves?

 

Heads are in the process of getting ported and the guy wants to know what valves i want so they will be machined for whatever. You guys think 2.0/1.6 are good size?
